# Contract

Renounced:\
No

Why is the contract not renounced?\
Keeping ownership gives us the flexibility needed to keep up with an ever changing and evolving ecosystem, for example: lowering taxes upon reaching a higher market cap. We are here to stay for the long term and renouncing the contract could prove to be a costly mistake in the long run as no changes can be made after renouncing.

Why does the contact have the ability to blacklist addresses?\
The blacklist was used to avoid certain sniper bots that target new liquidity pools and these bots got millions of tokens for very low cost. Those addresses will remain blacklisted. This is the only reason why the blacklist function was included and used. \ <br>
